Topgolf Tournament
We are excited to announce that we will host our 12th Annual Child’s Chance for Change TopGolf Tournament on Thursday, November 12th, 2026, 2pm-5:00 pm at TopGolf Tampa (10690 Palm River Rd, Tampa, FL 33619).
The event, sponsored in part by Unique Wealth, has a goal to raise $250,000.00 or 83 early learning scholarships and inspire major gifts for early learning projects that give economically disadvantaged children a level playing field as they enter kindergarten.
A Special Thanks to Our 2026 Title Sponsor:
Thank You to Our 2025 Sponsors!
For over 130 years, the Rosa Valdez Early Childhood Learning Center has served as a safe space that provides high-quality care and an enriching learning environment for economically disadvantaged children and families. Your contributions will provide the annual scholarships needed to one or more of the children we serve each year. A full year's gap scholarship is $3000/year. Our goal is to raise 83 full scholarships as we continue nurturing bodies, developing minds, and fostering hope one child at a time.
What is Cornerstone’s Topgolf Tournament?
A quality full-day childcare program for an infant to preschool-aged child costs between $7,500 - $12,000/year. Going to school and/or work is key to finding a successful pathway out of poverty. For all working parents childcare is essential, especially for those trying to break the cycle of poverty. Statistically, children living in poverty start school 12-18 months behind their peers making early childhood education even more important. Unfortunately, many families desiring to work or making as little as mininum wage do not qualify or are on waiting lists for childcare vouchers. Thanks to this event, Cornerstone is able to provide sliding-scale scholarships to keep these parents earning and learning while giving their children the very best early childhood education - setting the whole family on a path to a brighter future!
Who Benefits From Your Sponsorships?
Cornerstone is a participating charity in Birdies for Tampa Bay Charities, the fundraising program run by Copperhead Charities alongside the Valspar Championship at Innisbrook. Every dollar you give through the program comes to us in full — and Copperhead Charities adds another 15% on top from their Bonus Fund. There's no cost to you and no extra step. A $500 gift becomes $575. A $10,000 gift becomes $11,500. Since 1977, the Copperheads have generated more than $54 million for Tampa Bay charities, and we're grateful to be among them.
The Birdies donation form is not currently live, but will opened in September. Please check back then.
