Today the NEW Place is a non-profit, Multicultural Arts Center conveniently located in Tampa’s historic Ybor City. The Center provides a venue for live performance, along with professional training in dance, music, theatre and visual arts.
The NEW PLACE is a multi-faceted effort to bring hands-on participation in the arts to those who otherwise would have little access to arts programming.
Through our classes and programs, students are able to learn and explore the world artistically, and develop problem-solving skills important for school success. In addition, young people who participate at the NEW PLACE are exposed to healthy role models, career direction, and sources of artistic inspiration.
For a small $50 donation, you can provide 10 free dance classes for a child!
